A recent Pew Research Center survey found that 17 percent of workers age 18 to 29 - primarily Gen Z - reported being dissatisfied with their jobs, which is the highest rate among all age groups.
Similarly, 16 percent of respondents from lower-income families expressed job dissatisfaction, more than those in middle- or high-income brackets. Broader economic pressures, such as a tight job market and persistent inflation, have contributed to these sentiments.
Although unemployment remains low, a slowdown in hiring has made job transitions more difficult, and many workers feel their wages haven't kept pace with the rising cost of living.
In fact, among the 29 percent of workers unhappy with their pay, the most common reason cited was stagnant wages amid increasing expenses. Still, half of those surveyed said they were extremely or very satisfied with their jobs, and 38 percent reported being somewhat satisfied.

So, the question for our readers is: Are Your Gen Z Employees More Or Less Satisfied With Their Job?
Here is the opinion of one of the McCalmon editorial staff:

I am not sure, but if turnover is an indicator, I would say they are at least satisfied or happy. I would like to point out that even using the survey numbers, most Gen Z employees seem to be satisfied or happy with their job.
