According to a new survey, U.S. workers want to be able to choose their benefits with support, personalization, and more obvious value for the money.

Most employees – 89 percent – would like information tailored to their age, gender, and location. Another 52 percent of survey respondents want a greater level of detail for this type of information and report the information on their current benefits is lacking depth.

With regard to frequency, 51 percent desire benefit updates more than three times a year. Moreover, 79 percent expressed interest in having access to a live representative for questions regarding their benefits.

The preferred communication method (41 percent) for receiving benefits information was by email, but 27 percent would like an in-person meeting. "Employees Want Detailed Information About Benefits" hrotoday.com (Aug. 22, 2024).
